Oversee and enhance quality assurance in a specialized 503A compounding pharmacy setting, ensuring all products comply with stringent regulatory standards and company protocols. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a solid background in pharmaceutical quality assurance, who values adherence to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage robust quality assurance processes and metrics.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, including USP <795>, <797>, and <800>, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and lead regulatory inspections to maintain high compliance levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance into all operations.
  • Train and mentor the QA team on best practices and quality procedures.
  • Plan, conduct, and monitor product testing and inspections to guarantee finished product quality.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues promptly.
  • Analyze quality trends and data to identify improvements and execute corrective action plans.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and organizational policies.
  • Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance within a pharmaceutical compounding environment.
  • Expertise in USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and 503A regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS), document control software, and understanding of data integrity principles, with 21 CFR Part 11 awareness preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Location: Kennett Square, Pennsylvania
    Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Flexible availability on Saturdays if needed
  • This opportunity begins as a 13-week contract with the potential for permanent hire. Candidates committed to following established quality systems rather than instituting changes are highly preferred.
