Serving as a PRN pharmacist in a specialized community clinical pharmacy, you will provide expert pharmaceutical services focused on compounded medications tailored to meet individual patient needs. This role supports a 503A sterile and non-sterile compounding environment, utilizing the PioneerRx system to ensure precise and personalized therapies. Coverage is needed for select shifts during the Spring and early Summer, offering a valuable opportunity to apply your compounding skills within a collaborative clinical setting.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense compounded sterile and/or non-sterile medications according to physician prescriptions and patient needs.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to develop and verify personalized medication therapies.
  • Provide clinical consultations and support for patients requiring specialized or hard-to-find treatments.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards in compounding procedures.
  • Utilize the PioneerRx system for prescription processing and medication management.
  • Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona Pharmacist License
  • Experience with sterile or non-sterile compounding procedures is required (some experience acceptable)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to work independently on a per diem basis during the specified dates
