This role calls for an experienced Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) with a specialty foundation in HIV/AIDS medications, ready to lead pharmacy operations within a forward-thinking clinical environment. Based in Tacoma, WA, this direct-hire position offers the opportunity to oversee and enhance pharmacy services that directly impact patient care and community health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Lead and manage pharmacy operations by promoting innovative clinical services and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, provide training, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Uphold the pharmacy’s Core Values and Mission while adapting to a dynamic workplace environment.
  • Support a collaborative structure where staff report to multiple leaders.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, including conferences and training sessions.
  • Contribute to process consistency and policy application across various locations.
  • Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in retail or specialty pharmacy management; 10 years highly preferred.
  • Strong foundation in HIV/AIDS medications; willingness to grow towards expertise.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and lifestyles.
  • Capable of maintaining pace in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience exclusively from hospital settings is not preferred.
  • Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
