Per Diem Pharmacist (August Shifts) - Orlando, FL
Assignment Length: 1 Week Coverage
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Dates Needed: August 3rd – August 7th
A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a PRN Compounding Pharmacist for a one-week contract assignment. This pharmacy specializes in weight loss therapies and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and is looking for a reliable pharmacist to provide temporary coverage while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced compounding pharmacist or an eager new graduate pharmacist looking to gain specialty compounding experience in a supportive pharmacy environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform and verify sterile and non-sterile compounding preparations
Ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards
Accurately review and verify compounded medications
Maintain strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication skills
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment
Support pharmacy operations and contribute to continued growth
Requirements:
Active and clear Florida Pharmacist License
Previous compounding pharmacy experience
Knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines
Experience with Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
