Outpatient Staff Pharmacist PRN East Palo Alto, CA
RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for an ongoing PRN opportunity supporting outpatient pharmacy operations and providing coverage for staff vacations and PTO. This position is ideal for a pharmacist looking for a flexible schedule with consistent weekly shifts and additional opportunities as needed.
Schedule
Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Additional shifts for vacation and PTO coverage
Possible weekend coverage
Flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM
Ongoing PRN assignment
Pay: $60+ per hour
Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately and counsel patients on proper medication use.
Review and interpret prescription orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medication histories and potential drug interactions.
Manage inventory, including medication ordering and restocking.
Answer patient questions about prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and general medication concerns.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and California pharmacy regulations.
Requirements
Active, clear California pharmacist license in good standing.
Recent pharmacy experience required.
Outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
Flexible availability for recurring shifts and additional coverage.
