We are seeking an experienced Long Term Care Pharmacist to join a pharmacy supporting skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities, and hospice patients.
Schedule
40 hours per week
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Responsibilities
Review and verify medication orders entered by data entry technicians for skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities, and hospice.
Verify blister-packed and other packaged medications.
Verify sterile and non-sterile medications.
Answer phone calls from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians.
Provide clinical support and answer medication-related questions.
Count controlled substances and accurately document them in the perpetual inventory.
Check emergency medication boxes.
Support safe and accurate medication distribution to long-term care facilities and hospice patients.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License in good standing.
Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience required.
Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Fine motor skills and visual acuity required.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
