Licensed Pharmacist in Charge - Chandler AZ
RPh on the Go is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a growing 503A/LTC pharmacy in Tempe, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacist looking to grow into a leadership role. The pharmacy is open to newer pharmacists and will provide training in pharmacy operations and non-sterile compounding. If you have both a active California and Arizona pharmacist license this is the right opportunity for you!
Schedule
Full-Time | 32 Hours per Week
Monday–Thursday | Choose either 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Potential to increase to a 5-day work week.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
Review, verify, and approve prescription orders for clinical accuracy and regulatory compliance prior to dispensing.
Maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations, company policies, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution to support daily operations.
Partner with pharmacy leadership to improve operational efficiency and enhance patient care and customer service.
Participate in non-sterile compounding activities as needed. Training will be provided.
Requirements
Active and clear California and Arizona Pharmacist licenses are required.
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience.
Mail order, long-term care, or 503A compounding pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
Non-sterile compounding experience is preferred but not required.
Previous pharmacy management or leadership experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to begin full-time employment as soon as possible.
Newer pharmacists with the required dual licensure are encouraged to apply.
