Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Shasta Lake, California

An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to assume the role of Interim Pharmacist in Charge at a community center pharmacy in Shasta Lake, CA. This full-time contract position begins ASAP with training scheduled for mid to late next week, transitioning to a Monday through Friday workweek from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. starting June 29. The assignment is expected to last 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily pharmacy operations, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers at the center. The role requires ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality patient care within the pharmacy environment.

Ideal candidates possess recent retail pharmacy experience and demonstrate strong leadership abilities. Familiarity with the New Leaf pharmacy system is preferred, though training will be provided to those not yet proficient. Candidates can expect robust support from an experienced pharmacy technician team.
