RPh on the Go is hiring a Louisiana Licensed Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract with the opportunity for extension or direct hire at a hospital specialty pharmacy.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Day shifts available: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or flexible shifts between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Responsibilities
Prepare, fill, and distribute medications accurately and efficiently
Compound sterile and non-sterile medications following USP <797> and USP <795> standards
Process medication orders and maintain accurate pharmacy records
Deliver medications and supplies throughout the hospital
Manage inventory, restocking, medication storage, and cycle counts
Support pharmacists with medication access, refill coordination, and patient communication
Maintain controlled substance records and comply with all pharmacy policies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with daily pharmacy operations
Requirements
Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license
Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital or retail pharmacy experience
High School Diploma or GED
Sterile compounding experience is a plus
Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment
