Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage daily pharmacy operations, supervising department supervisors and staff. • Ensure all pharmacy team members receive ongoing training and support to meet departmental objectives. • Provide consistent performance feedback focused on results, skill development, and process improvements. • Develop strategies for employee engagement, talent assessment, cross-training, and succession planning. • Oversee compliance with standards such as Joint Commission, DOH, and Board of Pharmacy. • Manage budgets, including capital equipment needs and operational expenses. • Participate actively in hospital committees and communicate pharmacy policies across departments. • Maintain robust systems for authorized prescriber signatures and tracking pharmaceutical requisitions and dispensing. • Fulfill duties of a Staff Pharmacist.
Qualifications: • Current pharmacist licensure in the relevant state. • Minimum of three years hospital pharmacy experience within the last five years. • Proven ability to efficiently manage pharmacy operations within a healthcare setting. • Preferred: At least one year in a managerial role.
