An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and manage pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail setting. The role requires a proactive professional focused on fostering collaboration, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business growth through effective operational oversight and exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts (typically 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • 11-hour shifts (typically 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
  • 12-hour shifts (either 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
  • Variable day and afternoon shifts
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop collaborative relationships with store operations and pharmacy teams to enhance associate engagement and communicate departmental goals.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Manage the pharmacy department to maximize profitability and prescription growth via implementation of clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
  • Collaborate with district management and pharmacy staff to maintain appropriate inventory levels and control costs through sales tracking and stock ordering.
  • Align pharmacy performance with seven key measurable departmental metrics, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical concerns and providing healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff through training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, organized work environment.
  • Resolve customer issues professionally to build trust and loyalty.
  • Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to clarify prescription-related matters.
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
