Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician San Antonio, TX

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract opportunity in San Antonio, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional pharmacy team where you'll play a vital role in preparing sterile medications while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities
Prescription Compounding, Preparation & Processing
Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies in accordance with company policies, procedures, and state regulations.
Accurately prepare sterile compounded medications.
Perform pharmaceutical calculations to ensure proper medication dosages.
Properly label, package, and prepare medications for dispensing.
Assist in identifying, documenting, and reporting medication-related incidents while maintaining patient safety.

Site & Equipment Maintenance
Clean and sanitize pharmacy work surfaces, clean rooms, and laminar flow hoods.
Inspect pharmacy equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate temperature logs, cleaning records, and required documentation.
Assist with pharmacy organization and ensure compliance with USP standards and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
Current PTCB Certification
IV Certification required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and patient safety
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Assignment Details
13-week contract assignment
