Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician- Orange, CA

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a growing closed-door pharmacy specializing in home infusion services. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned technician looking for a long-term position with a growing pharmacy team.

We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on sterile compounding experience, excellent attention to detail, and the communication skills needed to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Available Shifts

Eight-hour shifts are available between 5:00 AM and 4:00 PM:

5:00 AM–1:00 PM

6:00 AM–2:00 PM

7:00 AM–3:00 PM

8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Candidates should specify their preferred shift. Flexibility is appreciated.

Location: Orange, California
Pay: $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Assignment: 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire

Responsibilities

Compound IV medications, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), antibiotics, antifungals, and other sterile preparations.

Prepare medications in weekly batches while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Follow proper aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures.

Maintain compliance with USP 797 standards.

Accurately prepare, label, handle, and process compounded medications.

Follow established quality assurance and medication safety procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding environment.

Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

Ideally 3–5 years of recent, hands-on sterile compounding experience.

Demonstrated experience compounding TPNs, antibiotics, and antifungals.

Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and USP 797 standards.

Active, unrestricted California Pharmacy Technician license.

PTCB or another national pharmacy technician certification preferred, but not required.

Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and safety.
