A pharmacy professional is needed for an 8-week contract starting ASAP, working in Millville, NJ. This role involves accepting and dispensing prescription medications while ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations. The schedule includes day shifts, some evenings, and rotating weekends.

Key responsibilities include monitoring patient medication compliance and usage patterns, accurately maintaining confidential patient records, and advising patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions. The pharmacist will provide consultation for both prescription and over-the-counter medications, and deliver patient services such as smoking cessation programs, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management. Education on proper use of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters is also essential.

Additional duties involve compounding medications, preparing sterile solutions with precision, and supervising pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks.
