Responsibilities
Manage daily pharmacy operations and workflow
Oversee the procurement, preparation, and dispensing of medications
Verify prescriptions for accuracy and compliance with professional standards, company procedures, and state and federal regulations
Ensure safe and effective medication management practices
Lead and support pharmacy staff to maintain operational excellence
Monitor and achieve pharmacy business goals, performance metrics, and service standards
Assist with inventory management and medication procurement processes
Support fiscal management efforts to optimize profitability and control expenses
Maintain compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
Foster positive relationships with patients, providers, and healthcare professionals
Drive initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and pharmacy performance
Required Qualifications
Active Illinois Pharmacist License
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience
Pharmacy management or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations
