Pharmacy Technician in Whittier, CA

An expanding home infusion and compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to join their team in Whittier, CA. This direct hire opportunity requires a candidate with hands-on expertise in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings. Inpatient-only experience will not be considered.

Working hours span seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a typical schedule Monday through Friday starting at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., or 10 a.m., and rotating weekend shifts. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet the demands of this dynamic environment. The pharmacy utilizes a proprietary workflow system, so adaptability and technical aptitude will assist in a smooth onboarding process.

Key responsibilities include compounding medications meticulously and engaging in proactive communication with patients and healthcare providers. Effective verbal skills and professionalism are vital as technicians play a pivotal role in ensuring patient care continuity beyond the compounding bench.
