This leadership role involves assisting the Director of Pharmacy in developing, implementing, and overseeing departmental goals and daily operations within a hospital pharmacy setting. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, and productivity metrics, as well as maintaining professional growth through participation in pharmacy-related committees, task forces, and scholarly activities. The incumbent will also oversee pharmacy-related projects such as Information Technology initiatives, Pharmacy Automation, Bedside Scanning, Bar Coding, Charge Master management, data collection, reporting, and operational efficiencies. This role supports the implementation and provision of pharmaceutical care through effective pharmacist oversight.
