Pharmacist in Charge - Paterson, NJ

Oversee comprehensive pharmacy operations and ensure strict regulatory compliance in this pivotal leadership role. Responsibilities include managing order reviews, verifications, dispensing, labeling, recordkeeping, and shipping functions. You will ensure all multi-state dispensing activities adhere to applicable state board of pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, licensing, inspections, audits, and multi-state dispensing/shipping protocols.

A critical part of your role is to develop and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures that support multi-state operations and regulatory compliance. You will provide clinical and quality oversight for enteral nutrition therapy, drug utilization review (DUR), adverse event reporting, and quality assurance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including clinical, intake, operations, reimbursement, HR, and compliance—is essential for streamlined pharmacy services.

Maintaining thorough compliance documentation and supporting credentialing, accreditation, and regulatory audits will be key to ongoing operational excellence.
