A newly established pharmacy in Roanoke, VA is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to lead operations at their startup site. This direct hire opportunity requires a candidate with prior long-term care (LTC) experience and a valid Virginia pharmacy license. The site is staffed with approximately 40 full-time employees, including pharmacists and technicians, and operates 24/7 with shifting schedules.
Responsibilities include overseeing all administrative pharmacy duties, ensuring compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations, and maintaining a safe and accurate medication supply. The PIC will also be expected to foster strong team communication, motivation, and visibility, while actively supporting staff to meet productivity goals. Experience with Frameworks and DocuTrack software is advantageous.
