This per diem opportunity seeks a licensed California Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee operations for a mail order medical equipment facility in Santa Maria, CA. This role is essential to maintain regulatory compliance until the designated PIC obtains their California license. The position offers flexibility, with the ability to primarily work remotely; however, candidates should be located close enough to the facility to be available on-site if necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the official California Pharmacist in Charge for the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all state pharmacy regulations.
  • Provide oversight and guidance related to pharmacy operations.
  • Be available to work on-site as needed.
  • Qualifications:

  • Valid California pharmacist license.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge.
  • Ability to work remotely, with proximity to Santa Maria for occasional on-site duties.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy regulatory requirements in California.
  • Schedule & Location:

  • Monday through Friday day shifts.
  • Minimum guarantee of 11 hours per week.
  • Primarily remote work with potential on-site visits near Santa Maria, CA.
