Lead pharmacy operations as a strategic director, guiding transformation that supports clinical excellence, health equity, and financial sustainability across Community Health Center services. This role requires oversight of all pharmacy activities, with a strong focus on compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HRSA 340B Drug Pricing Program requirements. You will champion the administration, integrity, and optimization of the 340B program to advance access and outcomes at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

Your leadership will influence medication strategy and pharmacy operations while serving as a key advisor to executive leadership and the board. Collaboration with healthcare providers and patients will be central, ensuring delivery of patient-centered pharmacy services that improve medication access and adherence, especially for underserved populations.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for pharmacy services, including staffing, workflow, inventory, and quality improvement
  • Ensure full compliance and audit readiness for the HRSA 340B Drug Pricing Program, developing policies to optimize resources and program savings
  • Manage pharmacy financial performance including budgeting, revenue optimization, and contract negotiations
  • Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge, maintaining licensure and regulatory compliance including controlled substance security
  • Collaborate with executive and clinical teams to enhance medication access and population health initiatives
  • Develop and enforce pharmacy policies, quality assurance, and continuous improvement programs
  • Recruit, supervise, and develop pharmacy staff, fostering engagement and accountability
  • Provide clinical oversight on medication management and serve as a resource on pharmaceutical care and safety
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners to strengthen pharmacy operations
  • Maintain expertise in 340B regulations and pharmacy best practices through ongoing professional development
  • Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited pharmacy college
  • Minimum 7 years outpatient pharmacy supervisory experience
  • At least 3 years experience with outpatient pharmacy 340B, FQHC, HRSA, and AAAHC programs Preferred:
  • BCACP certification
  • 340B University On-Demand certification
  • 340B Advanced Operations Certificate (ACE)
