  • Pharmacy Operating Hours:
    • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
    • Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full-spectrum leadership for clinical, operational, staffing, administrative, and financial aspects of the hospital’s pharmacy department.
  • Collaborate closely with hospital administration and clinical leadership teams to drive patient care excellence.
  • Manage a diverse pharmacy team of approximately 20 employees, including full-time, part-time, and PRN staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and CMS standards, maintaining high-quality pharmacy services.
  • Qualifications and Desired Experience

  • Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Director of Pharmacy in an acute care inpatient hospital setting.
  • At least 3 years of acute care inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
  • PharmD preferred; Board Certification and hospital pharmacy residency completion are strong advantages.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-level pharmacy teams and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in community or safety net hospitals is a plus.
