An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support an outpatient oncology infusion center in Atlanta, GA. This role requires specialized skills in chemotherapy preparation and administration within a fast-paced infusion environment.

Location:

  • Atlanta, Georgia (within a 50-mile radius from the city center; local candidates residing within this radius will not be considered)
  • Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Duration:

  • 13-week contract starting March 23
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy treatments and certain hematology therapies according to strict protocols
  • Perform IV starts and access implanted ports safely and effectively
  • Support the outpatient oncology infusion center’s workflow while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care in a cancer treatment setting
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy technician roles
  • Certification in chemotherapy preparation and administration
  • Valid Georgia pharmacy technician license is required
  • Proficiency in IV catheter insertion and implanted port access
  • Experience working in outpatient oncology infusion centers preferred
