  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all pharmacy department operations ensuring efficient and effective delivery of quality pharmacy services
  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate pharmacy functions, activities, and costs
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately, assess patient clinical status, and provide drug information to medical staff
  • Educate patients on medication therapies
  • Inspire and motivate pharmacy staff, foster teamwork, and promote professional development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient drug therapy
  • Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist License required
  • Completion of one of the following:
  • ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency, or
  • ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency plus 1 year pharmacist experience, or
  • 2 years pharmacist experience, or
  • 1 year leadership plus 1 year pharmacist experience (interim supervisor role may substitute leadership year)
  • Leadership experience in pharmacy preferred
  • Ability to obtain Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Strong clinical knowledge of inpatient hospital pharmacy
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills
