This opportunity offers an interim leadership role as Director of Pharmacy in a hospital setting located in Manhattan, Montana. The position requires an immediate start, with a contract duration of six months, and a schedule that includes day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities will include overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing the hospital’s 340B program, and leading clinical and physical expansions within the pharmacy department. A key focus will be overseeing the sterile compounding infusion center, including regulatory adherence and facility build-out.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered Pharmacist License issued by the Montana Board of Pharmacy, or eligibility for immediate licensure via reciprocity.
  • Ability to assume full legal responsibilities as Pharmacist-in-Charge upon start.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience at the Director or Assistant Director level within an acute care setting.
  • Proven experience managing 340B programs, including at least one complete TPA software conversion or implementation.
  • Direct oversight experience in the clinical, regulatory, and physical setup or expansion of a sterile compounding infusion center.
