An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Director to lead pharmacy operations at a 70-bed Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. This interim role offers a chance to make a significant impact by overseeing pharmacy services and serving as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for the site.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, day shifts
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the pharmacy department
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
  • Serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for the site, maintaining accountability for all pharmacy operations
  • Utilize RX Connect IT system to manage pharmacy workflows effectively
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active California pharmacist license required
  • Proven experience as a Director of Pharmacy in a California healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills to oversee pharmacy operations
  • Familiarity with LTAC environments is a plus
  • Contract Details:

  • Immediate availability preferred
  • Duration: 13 weeks with potential for temp-to-hire transition
