An opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in Epic to support a healthcare facility during its EMR transition from Meditech to Epic. Duration: Starting ASAP, through at least 8/15/26 (adjustable based on start date)
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing medications per physician orders, maintaining accurate medication stocks in patient care areas, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and protocols related to medication handling. You will interpret and transcribe medication orders into computerized profiles, compound pharmaceuticals including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition products, and perform pharmacokinetic dosing. Monitoring drug therapy for interactions and allergies, reviewing antibiotic appropriateness, and collaborating with medical staff on therapeutic alternatives are critical components of this role. Participation in quality improvement activities and membership on the Code Response Team are also expected.
