Staff Pharmacist - San Carlos, Arizona

A pharmacy opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists with expertise in inpatient, ER, and outpatient pharmacy settings. This contract assignment is based in Peridot, AZ, and is open to candidates willing to travel or relocate. The role offers a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with variable shift times including nights, days, swing shifts, and weekends.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily administrative pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. You will manage departmental policies, supervise staff development, and oversee inventory management to ensure cost-effective and timely pharmaceutical availability. The role also involves planning and optimizing computer-based dispensing systems and participating in ongoing training and educational activities to maintain skill competency.

Technology systems used include Scriptpro with SP200 Robot, RPMS Electronic Health Record, transitioning to a new EHR system.
