This role supports long-term care pharmacy operations by accurately entering new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy software and providing excellent telephonic customer service to patients, providers, and pharmacy staff. The position requires strong data entry skills and effective communication to ensure timely medication delivery and customer satisfaction.

Location: Glendale, AZ
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (after training)
  • Weekend rotation required.
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter new and refill medication orders into the pharmacy system with efficiency
  • Track medication delivery status and resolve any issues promptly
  • Consult telephonically with patients, providers, and pharmacy team members to support medication orders
  • Monitor and act on reports to address any medication order concerns
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to meet and exceed expectations regarding order fulfillment and customer service.
  • Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required
  • Previous experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting strongly preferred
  • Proven data entry or order entry background; call center pharmacy experience is also valued
  • Familiarity with Frameworks software is a plus, especially for those with LTC experience
  • Excellent phone presence and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependable, customer service-oriented, and a team player who is adaptable and a quick learner
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivation.
