Hospital Director of Pharmacy - Lafayette IN
RPh on the Go is seeking a Director of Pharmacy for a 13-week contract opportunity with a hospital in Lebanaon Indiana.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to make an immediate impact within a hospital pharmacy department.
Position: Director of Pharmacy
Assignment: 13-Week Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On-Call: Wednesdays
Hospital Environment
Daily Census: Approximately 30 Beds
Order Entry System: Meditech (experience preferred)
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in departmental meetings
Manage pharmacy workflow, staffing, and daily operations
Assist with pharmacist staffing as needed
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulations
Oversee sterile compounding operations
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and hospital leadership
Promote medication safety and quality patient care
Support continuous process improvement initiatives
Requirements
Active Indiana Pharmacist License
Pharmacy management experience
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Meditech experience preferred
Sterile compounding experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage daily pharmacy operations in a hospital setting
