A Clinical Pharmacist role is available in a dynamic hospital setting offering diverse clinical experience across Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care Unit (CCU), and Antibiotic Stewardship teams. This position provides an exceptional opportunity to develop a broad skill set by engaging with multiple patient care areas rather than being limited to a single unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders and review medication profiles to ensure appropriateness and safety.

Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient needs within ED and ICU settings.

Participate actively in multidisciplinary team rounds and collaborate on patient care plans.

Perform drug therapy monitoring and manage pharmacist-led consults following established protocols.

Engage in acute patient care scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma to support critical interventions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required.

Completion of PGY1 residency or at least three years of current clinical pharmacy experience preferred.

Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain licensure.

Candidates without a PA license are encouraged to apply; support for licensure acquisition is available.

Experience with Meditech or similar electronic health records is a plus.

Location:

State College, PA – a vibrant community known for its beautiful surroundings and home to Penn State University.

Schedule:

Primarily day shifts with variable days and afternoons, 8-hour shifts.
