We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a 13-week+ contract at an outpatient infusion center in Ithaca, NY. This role supports a cancer center and involves both clinical and compounding responsibilities in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Position Details:
Location: Ithaca, NY
Setting: Outpatient Infusion / Cancer Center
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks with potential to extend
Key Responsibilities:
Perform sterile compounding of oncology medications
Provide oversight of chemotherapy and supportive medications
Consult and collaborate with providers, nurses, and patients
Ensure compliance with USP <797>/<800> standards and institutional protocols
Qualifications:
Active New York Pharmacist license (required)
Prior experience with chemotherapy or oncology pharmacy preferred
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work independently in a team-based setting
