Travel Pharmacist – Outpatient Infusion (13+ Week Contract)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks +
We are actively seeking an experienced Outpatient Infusion Pharmacist for a 13+ week travel assignment supporting a busy cancer center. Although the position is not based in Syracuse, we are looking for qualified candidates from the Syracuse, NY area who are open to traveling for the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:Perform sterile compounding and prepare infusion therapies
Oversee and verify oncology medications and treatment plans
Consult with providers, nurses, and patients on safe medication use
Ensure compliance with safety standards related to chemotherapy and hazardous drugs
Qualifications:
Active New York Pharmacist License (required)
Experience with chemotherapy or oncology medications preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Willingness and ability to travel for the contract duration
