Travel Contract Need: IV Inpatient Experienced Pharmacy Technician - Grand Rapids, MI

We are looking for a pharmacy technician with at least 1 year of experience in inpatient setting and IV making skills (Preferred). Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties
• Maintain confidential reports, enter, and retrieve data utilizing the computer system
• Prepare intravenous medication, including but not limited to, hyper-alimentations and antibiotics
• Assists in all aspects of labeling and preparation of medications
• Assists with management of inventory including receiving and storing medication as well as preparation and delivery of narcotics
• Data collection related to medication center review and quality improvement
• Assists in monitoring and management of emergency carts
• Fill automated medication dispensing system with a supply of unit dose medications, procure
• IV admixtures
• Fill requests for pharmaceutical supplies and deliver supplies to nursing units

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Chemo trained preferred
• MI pharmacy technician License
• PTCB
• Hospital experience

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days (9am to 530p).  Some weekends
