Staff Pharmacist / PIC Southeast Michigan

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to serve as PIC for a closed-door, non-sterile compounding pharmacy on a 13-week contract with potential for direct hire. This full-time, weekday role (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) focuses on regulatory compliance, team leadership, and non-sterile compounding operations.

Core Duties Include:

Maintain full regulatory compliance (USP 795, DEA, Board of Pharmacy)

Oversee formulation prep, workflows, and technician productivity

Act as point person for audits and facility inspections

Enforce SOPs and ensure operational consistency

Supervise, train, and support pharmacy staff

Maintain comprehensive documentation and QA records

Monitor and track inventory usage and storage practices

Maintain cleanliness and operational logs

Contribute to ongoing quality and performance improvements
Minimum Qualifications:

Active Michigan pharmacist license

Willing and eligible to be designated as PIC

3+ years of experience in a non-sterile compounding setting

Skilled in regulatory adherence and staff oversight

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Preferred:

Prior PIC experience in a compounding pharmacy

Completion of a non-sterile compounding certification or training

Proficiency with pharmacy or compounding software
