We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Lincoln, NE to start as soon as possible. Position Overview:

  • Location: Lincoln, NE (Near 68508)
  • Setting: Retail
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with a Saturday rotation 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Duration: 13 Weeks (possible extension)

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and provide pharmaceutical services to improve therapeutic outcomes.
  • Advise physicians and other healthcare providers on drug therapy, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Supervise medication use processes and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on drugs and healthcare developments, collaborating with medical staff.
  • Educate patients on proper medication usage and ensure they understand their prescriptions.
  • Review medication orders for accuracy and completeness, adjusting regimens as necessary.
  • Perform medication use reviews and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain proper medication storage and handle inventory management.

    Ideal Candidate:

  • Pharmacy degree from an accredited school and current NE Pharmacy License.
  • PharmD preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Maintain confidentiality in all patient matters (HIPAA compliant).
  • Follow all procedures and policies within the scope of licensure.
  • Promote good health practices and demonstrate respect, integrity, and compassion.

    Working Conditions:
