Pharmacist – Fulfillment & Patient Care (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Kennett Square, PA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (with strong potential for permanent hire)
Industry: Specialty Compounding Pharmacy

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, reliable pharmacist to join a compounding pharmacy known for creating custom-tailored medications that support unique patient needs. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity where you’ll be an essential part of a tightly coordinated pharmacy fulfillment team.

Position Overview

In this role, you’ll manage fulfillment operations during your shift, ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, and collaborate with the team to support accurate, patient-specific prescription dispensing. You'll also provide essential clinical input and patient education related to compounded and over-the-counter medications.

Core Duties

  • Lead pharmacy operations during your assigned shift, managing technicians and workflow

  • Ensure prescriptions are accurately prepared, verified, and dispensed

  • Support packaging and shipment processes to maintain timely order completion

  • Review and maintain patient medication records for accuracy and clinical value

  • Provide counseling on prescribed medications, OTC treatments, and supplement usage

  • Monitor for potential drug interactions and assess therapeutic appropriateness

  • Assist with compliance audits and documentation requirements

    Available Shifts

  • Wednesday–Sunday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

  • Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

    Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania

  • Recent experience in a retail or outpatient pharmacy setting

  • Prior exposure to sterile or non-sterile compounding is preferred

  • Strong attendance and dependability are critical for success in this role

  • New graduates with strong clinical and technical skills are welcome to apply
