Staff Pharmacist Fairfield, OH

Communicate expectations at the beginning of each shift in the absence of a Lead Technician.

Act as a resource for pharmacy technicians, assisting with problem-solving and task assignments.

Conduct pre-checks (PV1) and final checks (PV2) of prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Provide clear patient counseling on medication use, dosage, and side effects.

Mentor new team members and provide regular performance feedback.

Maintain accurate medication records and manage inventory.

Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and protect patient privacy.

Support research and professional development initiatives.

Mentor pharmacy students or residents as applicable.

Software Used: PioneerRx
License Requirement: Active OH Pharmacist License in good standing (no restrictions)
Interview Requirement: Must be able to attend an on-site (in-person) interview.

Ideal Candidate:

1–2 years of experience in a busy retail or compounding pharmacy (preferred).

Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Flexible, team-oriented, and committed to patient care and safety.
