A well-established pharmacy in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 13-week contract, with potential for a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Assignment Details:
Start Date: 7/21
Duration: Through 10/20
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Rotation: Weekend rotation required
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense and verify prescriptions
Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
Compound medications (including sterile preparations)
Monitor compliance and detect drug-related issues
Maintain regulatory compliance and accurate patient records
Provide consultation on medical devices and wellness programs
Requirements:
Active New Mexico Pharmacist license (in good standing)
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BSPharm
Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and team collaboration
Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred
