Staff Pharmacist – Temp-to-Perm Opportunity in Bristol, PA

Location: Bristol, PA
Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (with rotating weekends)
Contract Length: 13+ Weeks, with potential for permanent placement

We are excited to invite a skilled Staff Pharmacist to join a respected Long-Term Care pharmacy in Bristol, PA. This position offers the unique opportunity to transition from a temp role into a permanent position, giving you the chance to contribute your expertise while enjoying a stable, supportive work environment.

Position Overview:

In this role, you'll play a critical part in the delivery of pharmaceutical care to long-term care patients. You’ll work with a talented team to ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, providing vital support to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prescription Verification: Ensure that all prescriptions are reviewed and verified for accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Cycle Fill Management: Efficiently manage the preparation and filling of prescriptions for long-term care patients (approximately 100 prescriptions daily).
  • System Utilization: Utilize QS1 PrimeRx and Doctrack software to process and track prescriptions (experience with these systems is a plus but not required).

    Qualifications:

  • Experience: A background in retail or long-term care pharmacy is preferred.
  • Long-Term Care Experience: Required for consideration for this role.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid, active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License in good standing.
