We're seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a 12-week contract. This is for a long-term care, mail order pharmacy.
Shift: (3PM-12AM); with rotating weekends
Job duties:Accurately filling and verifying prescriptions, including checking for proper dosages, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Providing medication counseling to patients and their caregivers, explaining proper administration, potential side effects, and storage instructions.
Adhering to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices, including those related to prescription processing, medication storage, and record keeping.
Handling customer inquiries, resolving medication-related issues, and providing excellent service to patients and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
Active & clear NM Pharmacist license
Retail or long term care experience
