RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a Specialty Pharmacy in Austin, Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialized pharmacy environment, where you will be a crucial part of delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of specialty medications.
  • Manage prescription orders, including the processing of new and refill requests.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring they understand their medication regimens.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and handle insurance billing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Support inventory management, including the ordering and stocking of specialty medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

    Pharmacy Hours:

  • Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: 9:00AM - 5:30 PM
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00AM - 8:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00AM - 1:00PM

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher in a related health field preferred.
  • One or more years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in Texas and State Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
  • Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong MS Office skills and experience with pharmacy software preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude.
