Specialty Pharmacy Manager Travel Role Wadena, MN
A travel opportunity is now open for a seasoned Pharmacy Manager to join a specialty pharmacy team in Wadena, MN. This assignment offers the chance to lead daily operations across a blended setting of retail and long-term care while bringing strong clinical and leadership skills to a high-impact environment.
Assignment Details:
This is a 13+ week travel contract with full-time hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, including rotating weekends. You’ll be responsible for supervising pharmacy workflows, ensuring compliance, managing clinical services, and supporting long-term care operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pharmacy operations and staff
Perform clinical reviews and verify prescriptions
Provide immunizations and medication therapy management
Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations
Deliver high-quality care to both retail and LTC patients
Required Qualifications:
Active Minnesota Pharmacist License (required)
Prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist-in-Charge (required)
PharmD or MTM Certification (required)
Immunization Certification (required)
Current CPR Certification (required)
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings
