Position Details:
Title: Pharmacist (Retail/Long-Term Care)
Location: Newark, OH
Type: Per Diem
Schedule:
Monday, June 2 – Friday, June 6, 2025
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM each day
Total: 42.5 hours
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately based on prescriptions from healthcare providers
Counsel patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects
Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and standards
Maintain strong attention to detail and a high level of customer service
Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to support patient care
Requirements:
Active Ohio Pharmacist License (in good standing)
At least 1 year of recent experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy setting
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical best practices and medication therapies
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
