Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM + Rotating Weekends
Setting: Closed-Door Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy

We are seeking a dedicated Production Pharmacy Technician to join a well-established closed-door LTC pharmacy in Bardonia, New York. This direct-hire opportunity offers a consistent daytime schedule and the chance to play a vital role in ensuring residents receive accurate and timely medication services.

Position Overview

As a Production Pharmacy Technician, you will support pharmacy operations by preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation. The pharmacy processes approximately 600 prescriptions daily, making this an excellent opportunity for technicians who thrive in a high-volume environment and are committed to patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare medications in appropriate packaging, including blister packs and unit-dose packaging, for timely distribution to residents.
Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing medications.
Monitor inventory for proper storage conditions and medication expiration dates.
Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records.
Utilize the Frameworks pharmacy management system (training available).
Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to support efficient workflow and medication management.
Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, policies, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience required.
New York State Pharmacy Technician license preferred, but not required.
PTCB certification preferred, but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rotating weekends
