Pharmacy Technician - Specialty Pharmacy - Austin, Texas

We are currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a specialty pharmacy in Austin, Texas. Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Technician at our specialty pharmacy, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. You will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing outstanding customer service to our patients. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in a specialized area of pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of specialty medications.
• Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Manage and maintain inventory, including ordering and stocking medications.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering patient questions and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy management team.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: 9:00AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00AM - 8:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher in a related health field preferred.
• One or more years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in Texas and State Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with pharmacy software preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude.
