Position: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 8-Week (Contract to Hire)
Shift: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5pm
Setting: Retail Specialty
Job Description:
-Retail duties including high-volume data entry and dispensing
-working with patients that are in an advanced state of a chronic disease (diabetes, hypertension, MS, etc.)
Experience:
- Specialty retail working experience is highly preferred
- Must have at least 1 year of retail pharmacy technician experience
- Need to have strong communication skills, have patience when talking with patients and have a strong knowledge of the top 200-400 drugs found in a retail setting
- Software: Rx30 experience
License:
- Active PA State Pharmacy license
-PTCB is highly preferred but not required
