Location: Sterling, VA
Duration: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Day Shifts, NO WEEKENDS, NO NIGHTS. Full-time (40 hours) shift between the hours of 7:30 am 6:30 pm.

Duties:

• Providing outstanding customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
• Address routine inquiries from patients regarding health plan drug coverage, prices, and related issues.
• Identify situations requiring pharmacist intervention and appropriately triage to the pharmacist.
• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, in accordance with state board of pharmacy regulations.
• Process third-party claims as per patients' drug plans.
• Liaise with insurance companies and/or PBMs to resolve claims issues.
• Operate automated packaging machinery to pre-sort, package, and restock medications.
• Order and stock drugs and supplies, assemble drugs and supplies for clinical departments, stock crash carts, and perform other inventory duties.
• Pack and ship orders nationwide.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• VA pharmacy technician license is required.
• Experience with retail, mail order, or LTC pharmacy data entry and pharmacy dispensing
