Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Position Type: Temp to Perm Opportunity

Pharmacy Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: 9 AM - 5:30 PM

Wednesday & Thursday: 9 AM - 8:30 PM

Saturday: 9 AM - 1 PM

Responsibilities:

Prepare medications by counting, pouring, mixing, and packaging pharmaceuticals.

Utilize Pioneer RX for prescription management.

Label containers and enter prescription information into the computer system.

Verify insurance benefits and handle payment transactions at the Point of Service (POS).

Interact with patients, case managers, and insurance companies to maintain positive relationships.

Coordinate prescription deliveries and manage routine reports and correspondence.

Address and resolve problems proactively while embracing the company’s core values and goals.

Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher in a related health field preferred.

One or more years of Pharmacy Technician experience.

Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in Texas and State Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.

National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.

Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Strong MS Office skills and experience with pharmacy software preferred.

Reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude.
