Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – Warehouse
Location: Lexington, KY
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday,  8:30am – 6pm
Job Summary:
 RPh on the go is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our warehouse team in Lexington, KY. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and distribution of medications, manage inventory, and ensure that all processes adhere to state and federal regulations. This position is ideal for pharmacy technicians who are comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are passionate about contributing to the safe and efficient distribution of medications.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the receiving, sorting, and organizing of pharmaceutical inventory.
  • Accurately prepare and pack medications for shipment to healthcare providers, clinics, or retail pharmacies.
  • Ensure that all medications are properly stored and handled in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels, track expiration dates, and ensure accurate stock rotation.
  • Label and package medications following established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory movement and distribution.
  • Communicate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of medications.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Perform quality control checks on medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
  • Valid pharmacy technician license for the state of Kentucky.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical inventory management and distribution processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes of medications and supplies (up to 50 lbs).
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management and inventory software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
